Flowers are making their appearance at Farm Kitchen and we couldn’t be more pleased. Today the sun came out and I almost believe I could see the blooms smiling. The promise of color and fragrance and joy is that much more palpable on a sunny PNW spring day, isn’t it?

Hey there, I’m Karin, a member of the Farm Kitchen team. We’ve started hundreds of sweet peas and zinnias and cosmos. We started dahlia cuttings, a first time experience for us, and we are slowly waking up all the dahlia tubers. The best part of our day is planting out seedlings that will grow into showy rainbows and ombre fields. We can’t wait! And this year we are eager to share them with you!

Brighten the day of someone you love. Say “Thank You”, “Happy Birthday!” or “Congratulations!” to someone who deserves recognition. Bring some nature into your space. Come out and join us in the fields. Flowers make a sweet gift and we want to make it simple for you. Buying local blooms grown with sustainable practices means less impact on the environment, supporting a local business, and knowing exactly where your pretty purchase comes from.

Weekly Blooms

Simplify your summer with a flower subscription. When you sign up for our $125 subscription you will receive a lovely bouquet every other week for 10 weeks, beginning in late July. There will be sweet peas, snap dragons, zinnias, cosmos, and dahlias and more. Some weeks will be single variety and other weeks will be mixed bouquets. Or choose our dahlia subscription for late summer, 6 weekly dahlia bloom bunches for $150. You can pick up your flowers on select Thursdays or Fridays at Farm Kitchen or at a location near Winslow on Bainbridge Island.

Farm Stand

Brighten your day with local blooms. Our first bunches will be filled with vibrant purple blue and white anemones or fluffy pastel ranunculus.

Beginning in May please check our instagram page @farm_kitchen_poulsbo for farm stand hours each week. When the stand is open, just drop by Farm Kitchen, 24309 Port Gamble Road NE in Poulsbo and pick up a bunch. $10 and $20 bunches available, cash, venmo or credit card via square.

You Pick

Spend an afternoon in the mood boosting flower fields. This summer Thursdays mean fresh flowers. Come pick a vase full of color and joy. Spend time with a friend. Share the joy with family. Or savor the quiet time alone amongst the blooms. A mason jar is yours to take into the field and select the flowers that speak to you. Take your time, enjoy the select you pick rows and build a beautiful bunch for $15. Thursdays from 12-7 starting in June. Stay tuned for starting date.
